Team members develop criticism and self-criticism as compulsory courses

Recently, CCTV broadcasted the reality of the democratic life meeting of the Standing Committee of Fujian Provincial Party Committee. The Secretary of the provincial Party Committee was especially right to avoid mistakes and be open and honest. The members of the group carried out criticism and self-criticism to face the problems directly and did not let off empty guns, which triggered heated discussions.



Convening special meetings on democratic life and carrying out criticism and self-criticism are our Party's fine tradition and the fundamental way to serious political life within the Party. Comrade Mao Zedong once said: & ldquo; regular meetings for criticism and self-criticism are a good way for comrades to supervise each other and promote the rapid progress of the cause of the Party and the state. Since the Eighteenth National Congress of the CPC, the inner-Party life has become more and more active and healthy, which is closely related to the Party's mass line education practice activities and the actual results of thematic education, as well as the requirements of the Central Committee for a high standard and high quality thematic democratic life. For this reason, General Secretary Xi Jinping reiterated at the Sixth Plenary Session of the Eighteenth Central Discipline Commission that criticism and self-criticism should be a compulsory course for every Party member and cadre.



Strictness is love, looseness is harm. Party organizations should adhere to this principle for Party members and cadres, and Party members and cadres themselves should also use this principle to restrain themselves and help others. As far as democratic life is concerned, only by making criticism spicy and introspection sincere, can we touch the problems and touch the soul, make the style problems disappear and hide the accumulated shortcomings of management. Self-criticism does not go around the bend or circle. It is not so much the requirement of the Democratic Life Association as the key to the success or failure of the democratic life that it criticizes others to point out the key points and point to the root. Lack of courage to use criticism and self-criticism is clearly unqualified in Party spirit awareness.



Criticism is harder to speak than praise, and criticism is harder to accept than praise. It is difficult to speak because of the fear of offending people and the lack of Party spirit; it is difficult to accept because of the fear of losing face, and because of selfish misconceptions. Rare friends, dare to criticize them face to face. During the period of Yan'an Rectification Movement, Chen Yi wrote such poems in the face of criticism from others for his failure to control cadres well. If we use the weapon of criticism and self-criticism well, we should dare to face up to and actively correct our own shortcomings and errors, dare to point out others'shortcomings and errors and help others to correct them. More courageous and direct, more introspective and good-natured. Criticism and self-criticism will not only be a wound salting, not speculative, but also a weapon to overcome the vulgarization, casualness and dilution of political life, and an opportunity for communion among comrades and between superiors and subordinates.



To rule by practice and to rule by writing is to rule by rdquo; We must avoid formalism if we want to hold a democratic life meeting. Some people do not pay enough attention to democratic life ideologically, preferring to do more business rather than do more checks, do not take the initiative in meetings and listen carefully; some people cope with things to pass through the psychological, check and criticize others; others are wrong-mouthed and deliberately avoid problems. In all these cases, it is not good to hold democratic life meetings at all. In the end, they will only mislead others and harm themselves. The democratic life meeting should not only be held in time, but also be practical and responsible to others. Only by adhering to stricter standards, more spicy tastes and more accurate supervision can we make good use of the weapons of criticism and self-criticism and continue the political ecology which has been improving since the 18th National Congress of the CPC.



Criticism and self-criticism are not only a major investigation and overhaul of problems and errors, but also a deep exercise in a strict and practical ideological style, so we should treat them in a strict and down-to-earth spirit. By adhering to the principle of seriousness and carrying out the spirit of rigorousness to the end, we can surely consolidate the existing curative effects into lasting health and conscious habits, and nurture the strong foundation of strictly administering the Party.
